The Uppers
Program acts as an academic and social bridge from an elementary school to a
middle school experience. The unique social and academic needs of this age
group are addressed within this stimulating and challenging environment.
Subjects are taught daily in 40 minute blocks, with additional study periods
available for students to receive extra help when needed. Time management
and organizational skills are stressed, as confidence and a sense of
self-reliance develop.
