Westbury
Friends School serves a community of ever increasing circles of influence.
At the core is the classroom community, with the students, teachers and
families of each class work together to learn in an enriched environment.
The classrooms come together to form the school community which enriches
learning through service to others. Westbury Friends School community
works closely with charitable organizations such as the Red Cross and the
American Friends Service committee to help meet worldwide needs as they
arise.
The parental
community at Westbury Friends School
plays a significant role as one of the circles of influence. The Board of
the Parent Teacher Council plans school events, plans fundraising
endeavors, maintains contact with the parents through a newsletter, and
holds forums for discussion.
