Student - Teacher Ratio
Information   Westbury Friends School maintains a low student to teacher ratio.  For the 2006 school year, our class ratios are as follows:
  • Nursery & PreK classes 7:1
  • Kindergarten 8:1
  • Primary Grades 16:1
  • Intermediate & Upper Grades 12:1

Special subject areas also benefit from appropriate class sizes.  Art & Computer classes are kept under an 8:1 ratio to allow for individual attention, while music and physical education benefit from increased group participation while keeping under a 16:1 ratio.
