Tuition Assistance and Scholarships

Silent reading is a part of everyone's day.

Making our school affordable has been a goal of Westbury Friends School since its founding. Tuition Assistance is not a loan, but is a reduction in tuition, and is available to those who qualify for families with children in Kindergarten and above. Currently approximately 28% of our students receive tuition assistance. Tuition assistance decisions are made by the Financial Aid Committee in accordance with the policies set forth by the Board of Managers.

Tuition Assistance
Westbury Friends School uses the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), which is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). We recommend you take advantage of the online application service available through NAIS/SSS,  however you can request a  paper application from our Admissions Office. Application deadlines are observed, so please contact the Admissions Office at 516-333-3178 for further information, or click here for our guidelines.

Click here for IRS FORM 4506, which must be submitted to WFS with your application for Tuition Assistance.

Scholarships
Additional opportunities for financial support exist through a number of scholarship programs. For further information, please contact the Admissions Office.

The Admissions Office can be reached Monday through Friday during school hours at 516-333-3178, or by emailing naranda@westburyfriends.org
