Westbury Friends School is a small
culturally diverse Friends elementary school. Our philosophy of
welcoming people of different backgrounds, of welcoming people of different
races, religious, cultural, socioeconomic, physical and learning styles, is
clearly stated in our mission statement. All of our literature and
many of our activities confirm and reflect the diversity which we celebrate.
Our International feast, Sunday, October 2nd, is one of the many ways in
which we reaffirm our various backgrounds, as we serve the variety of foods
that come from the many worlds of Westbury Friends school students and
parents.
